Position Summary:
DriveWhip is reinventing car access for rideshare drivers, providing reliable, well-maintained rental vehicles that empower gig workers to hit the road and start earning fast. We are seeking a proactive, people-first Sales Manager to lead our driver onboarding and sales outreach team.
This role combines hands-on sales and account management responsibilities — serving as a key point of contact for newly approved drivers — with team leadership, workflow oversight, and performance management. The Sales Manager will actively support the driver conversion pipeline (outreach, onboarding, and pickup coordination) while ensuring the broader team meets daily production goals, quality standards, and turnaround expectations.
The adecuado candidate is a strong communicator and closer who is also highly organized, analytical, and comfortable leading a team within a fast-paced startup environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following):
Driver Sales, Onboarding & Outreach
Call, text,



and email newly approved drivers to schedule vehicle pickups and drive conversion
Conduct introductory calls to explain DriveWhip benefits and guide drivers through next steps
Assist drivers in completing credit card authorization forms and submitting deposits
Send and manage weekly rental invoices and upfront deposit payments
Follow up with inactive and unbooked leads to maximize approved-driver conversion rate
Appointment & Pickup Coordination
Schedule vehicle pickups, including assigning VINs and confirming logistics
Lead orientation sessions covering DriveWhip policies, procedures, and expectations
Monitor and follow up on late rentals and no-shows (e.g., missed pickup appointments)
Manage win-back campaigns for drivers who have been inactive for several weeks or months
Driver Qualification Support
Partner with the Applications team to verify required onboarding documents, including driver's licenses, insuran
