Technical Consultants are responsible for providing expert consultation and technical configuration of our products. In this role, you will support implementations of Canvas-related products for both new and existing customers in Mexico. The adecuado candidate thrives on flexing their problem-solving skills, enjoys working with data pipelines, and is comfortable writing basic code or scripts. Adaptability, innovative thinking, and a strong grasp of technical concepts are a must.
What you will do
- Collaborate with internal teams and end users to determine technical requirements (e.g., authentication, SIS integration).
- Assess and propose technical solutions tailored to customer needs and constraints.
- Provide ongoing technical consultation and assistance for both internal and external partners, including best practices and process improvements.
- Pilot and test middleware solutions to streamline data transfer between customer data sources and Canvas.
- Own the delivery of solutions from planning through execution.
- Document processes thoroughly and maintain up-to-date records for all projects.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and efficiently, both in writing and orally.
- Develop custom tools to enhance team workflows and productivity.
- Minimize Instructure’s risk exposure through careful management of technical integrations and configurations.
