Job DescriptionThe IT Infrastructure Project Manager is an integral member of the infrastructure delivery team responsible for managing building development projects of varying size and complexity. The role is responsible for designing and managing the delivery of IT infrastructure (cabling and communications room design and installation).
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Work with construction project teams to understand physical design requirements, including MDF/IDF quantity, location and layout. Design passive cabling infrastructure and coordinate with network engineers on network and WiFi Design.
- Creation of infrastructure design package using client design guidelines
- Complete design review with client ahead of work orders being placed
- Manage project delivery: coordinate with internal and external parties (General Contractors, cabling contractors, network engineers)
- Draft and issue project proposals, RFPs and preliminary schedules
- Attend site meetings, main
