Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with management, customers, and engineering staff to maximize new or existing product reliability and to minimize cost.
Diagnose and analyze quality problems such as scrap and rework.




Establish causes and identify equipment and personnel necessary to provide acceptable quality levels - provide assistance to resolve problems.
Develop and recommend standards and methods for gauges, inspection procedures, and testing equipment to minimize cost and improve quality through defect prevention.
Provide manufacturing and engineering with mechanical and electrical data on new product runs.
Recommend and coordinate quality improvement programs such as the gage control program, calibration schedules, quality planning, and quality cost analysis with the manufacturing plants to provide the basis for permanent resolutions to chronic quality problems.
Mentor and hold accountable all members of Quality Department, responsible for regular evaluation and drive performance expectations of QE and other Quality department members.
