This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions As an Area Director of Sales, on the Commercial Team, reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, Mexico, you will achieve topline resort budget targets and outperforming the marketplace.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Manage resort sales and marketing plans to ensure they interpret and support business objectives by focusing and use these plans to focus the sales efforts for all market segments.
Prepare and approve hotel contracts with customers following current business and pricing conditions.
Direct the group forecasting process together with the Revenue Department to insure accurate, timely and complete information.
Develop the group team through leadership and by example to include sales development; participate in the hiring of team members, and their future success.




Compile and direct the preparation of Sales Department operational reports to include the annual and monthly Forecast, Lead Management System, and Booking Reports.
Accomplish initiatives as outlined; swiftly implement strategies to offset changes in markets, economy or by the competitive set.
Organize comprehensive information describing the range of products and services offered by the hotel and deliver this information through relevant sales resources and sales channels to existing and potential Guests.
Produce accurate reports / presentations that meet the needs of the hotel and the management company.
Work with the Senior Management Team to identify and lead focused activities on elements of the business that require additional support.
Liase with Hilton Worldwide Sales to understand and address opportunities with lead conversion, client communication and resort meeting execution.
