As Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will lead the safe and efficient operation of our Monterrey chemical blending site while accelerating performance and capability growth.
You will oversee day-to-day operations and critical capital investment projects, championing continuous improvement and driving measurable gains in reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency.Partnering closely with key stakeholders, you will build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of nine colleagues—strengthening technical expertise, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and developing future leaders—ultimately delivering sustained operational excellence and long‐term site growth.Join the team and let's do great things together!
TasksWhat will You Do?
- Lead and oversee the Engineering & Maintenance function for the site- Manage and develop a team of 9 colleagues (engineering, facilities, and technicians)- Drive a preventive maintenance culture to ensure equipment reliability- Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to Maintenance and Facilities- Manage external vendors, including site security and service providers- Participate in investment planning and CapEx strategy- Lead capital projects end-to-end (budget, timeline, execution)- Monitor and optimize departmental costs and KPI's- Champion a strong safety culture and safe working environmentRequirementsWhat Are We Looking For?
Education:
Degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related fieldExperience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role leading a team and ideally in the manufacturing sector within a multinational company.
- Proven experience leading capital projects and equipment installation- Vendors & contractors management- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance- KPI's management- Continuous improvement methodologies- Project managementSoft skills- Safety‐first mindset.
