A Snapshot of Your Day The Sales Controller supports the Sales and Aftermarket organizations by providing financial and commercial analysis, performance reporting, and operational support throughout the sales cycle. The role plays a key part in monitoring order intake, managing pipeline visibility, and ensuring data consistency between commercial and financial systems.
Working closely with Sales, Operations, the Sales Controller helps drive business performance through accurate reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights. The position also supports budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance Execution & Performance team.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Support Sales and Aftermarket management through financial and operational analysis, providing insights to support commercial decision-making.
- Monitor order intake, sales pipeline, backlog, revenue, and order conversion trends, identifying risks, opportunities, and performance variances.
- Track opportunities throughout the sales cycle and ensure data accuracy and alignment across Salesforce, SAP, and reporting platforms.
- Prepare and maintain recurring sales, order intake, backlog, and revenue reports, as well as management dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance reviews, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis and business cases.
- Drive continuous improvement through reporting automation, data standardization, and optimization of Salesforce, SAP, and reporting processes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A;, Sales Controlling, Business Analytics, or Finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly: Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, data analysis), Power BI, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Experience working with SAP in a finance, controlling, sales, or operational environment.
- Experience using Salesforce and supporting sales pipeline management and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting Sales, Service, or Aftermarket organizations.
- Knowledge of order intake, backlog, revenue, and sales performance metrics.
- Experience with reporting automation and business intelligence solutions.
