Role Description The Jr Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Miguel Hidalgo, CMX. This role supports quality activities across electrical engineering projects, including reviewing installation and design documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the development and execution of quality procedures, participating in inspections and tests of materials and equipment, and documenting quality findings and corrective actions.

The Jr Quality

Engineer collaborates with project engineers, installers, and suppliers to identify issues, track nonconformities, and help implement improvements to processes and product quality. The role also involves maintaining accurate quality records, preparing reports,



and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated understanding of Quality Engineering principles, including methodologies for process improvement and defect prevention.
- Experience or training in Quality Control practices such as inspections, testing, measurement, and documentation of nonconformities.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance frameworks, including the ability to support audits, compliance checks, and procedure implementation.
- Awareness of Product Quality requirements, with the ability to help verify that electrical components and installations meet specifications.
- Basic familiarity with Quality Management systems (e.g., ISO-based approaches) and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with cross-functional project teams.
- Proficiency in using office productivity software and basic quality data analysis tools; experience with engineering or CAD tools is a plus.
- Interest in developing a career in quality within the electrical engineering sector; prior internship or junior experience in a technical environment is beneficial.
