In this role, you will join an established engineering environment at Forte, collaborating across international teams to bridge data infrastructure and business functions. You will work on standardizing enterprise-level analytics and reporting environments using cloud data warehouses, turning complex datasets into reliable, accessible insights for functional business units.

As a Looker BI Developer, you will contribute to its success by acting as a proactive bridge between data engineering and non-technical business stakeholders, resolving metric inconsistencies to establish a single source of truth, and delivering clear, usable analytics optimized for everyday decision-making.

This is Remote full-time employment opportunity, working on a Mexico City time-zone schedule, with an expected project duration of approximately up to 6 months.

Key Competencies

- Partner directly with business stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, and Operations to capture requirements and deliver standardized, high-adoption Looker reports and dashboards.
- Formulate and execute standard metric definitions across business units, resolving reporting inconsistencies and ensuring accurate data export capabilities for executive consumption.
- Query and analyze cloud data warehouse structures using advanced SQL, collaborating with data engineering teams to consume existing data models efficiently.

Mandatory Technical Skills





- 3+ years of experience building, optimizing, and maintaining production dashboards, Explores, and reporting structures within Looker.
- Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries against cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake.
- Direct hands-on experience performing lightweight LookML development and maintenance to expose modeled data effectively to business teams.

Nice to Have Skills

- Practical knowledge of establishing self-service BI governance and scalable data democratization environments.
- Exposure to customer analytics, e-commerce, subscription/SaaS, or commercial business models.
- Familiarity with embedding data visuals into external executive reporting formats and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

- Proven track record of operating independently to bridge technical data teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Strong structured problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving operational reporting misalignment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for effective daily collaboration with US-based business leads.
