We are looking for ambitious professionals with experience in commodities operations, logistics, traffic, contract administration, or trade execution to join our two-year Trader Development Programme, based in Bolivia. This programme is designed to develop future traders through hands-on exposure to physical metals and minerals trading, combining operational expertise with commercial development.
What We're Looking For
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in commodities operations, traffic, logistics, contract administration, or trade execution.
✔
Experience in a commodity trading house or physical trading environment is a strong plus.
✔ Knowledge of the metals and minerals industry.
✔ Fluent English.
✔ Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
✔ Willingness to relocate to Bolivia for the duration of the programme.
Programme Overview
Phase 1
: Trade Operations & Execution
Gain hands-on experience in contract administration, logistics,



and physical trade execution through Altamira's Bolivia traffic desk.
Phase 2
: Commercial Development
Develop customer and supplier relationships, support business development initiatives, and gain commercial exposure across the mining sector.
Upon successful completion, participants will be considered for Trader opportunities within Altamira's general trading platform, including Mexico and other international locations.
