Tential is seeking an experienced Manual QA Analyst to support the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. This role is focused primarily on hands-on functional testing, test case development and execution, defect management, and SQL-based data validation.

The adecuado candidate has a strong manual testing foundation and experience working with web-based or enterprise applications in an Agile environment. Experience with financial, banking, insurance, or other data-intensive applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web-based and enterprise applications.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects, working with development teams through investigation and resolution.
- Use SQL to validate application data, investigate discrepancies, and confirm data integrity.
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios, gaps, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, refinement, standups, and defect triage.
- Maintain clear and accurate test results, defect records, and QA documentation.




- Support ETL/data-conversion testing, access or permissions testing, and test automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of professional experience in manual and functional software testing.
- Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and regression tests.
- Experience testing web-based or enterprise applications.
- Experience with defect identification, documentation, tracking, and retesting.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with Jira or a comparable defect/test management tool.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing applications in financial services, banking, insurance, or another data-intensive or regulated industry.
- Experience with ETL, data-conversion, or other data-focused testing.
- Exposure to user access, permissions, role-based access, or control testing.
- Familiarity with HP Quality Center, ALM, or similar QA management tools.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field
