Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiasticRegional Director Field Operationsto join our Hyatt Inclusive Collection (Jade Region). In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader General Managers, Regional Functional Leaders (Commercial, Finance, HR, Engineering, F&B;, Quality), Property Executive Committees, Owners and Ownership Representatives, and the Opening & Conversion Team team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role The Regional Director of Operations provides Director-level operational leadership and performance oversight for an assigned portfolio of Hyatt Inclusive Collection – Jade region hotels. The role is responsible for translating regional operating strategy into consistent property-level execution through General Managers and functional leaders, with a focus on improving guest experience, brand delivery, talent capability, risk controls, financial performance and owner satisfaction. Build organizational alignment and accountability by connecting hotels with Regional and Corporate functions.
Operating within established regional strategy,
brand standards, policies, and budget parameters, the role drives operational discipline, identifies performance gaps, supports corrective action, and escalates material portfolio decisions, owner matters, compliance risks, or strategic issues to the Senior Vice President of Operations.
Qualifications
Experience Required
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive hotel operations experience, including at least 3 years in a multi-property, area or regional leadership role.
Experience Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Relevant certification in hotel administration, hospitality leadership, project management, finance, risk/safety, or agile ways of working is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with hotel property-management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, revenue-management, CRM, quality/reputation, workforce-management, and business-intelligence systems. Strong ability to analyze complex data and present concise performance insights.
