Software Engineer with full-stack experience.
This role is an opportunity to use a wide variety of design and technical web skills to help us develop and support features for the AlertMedia product suite.

You are a user of AI-assisted development tools that improve engineering workflows, code quality,



and team productivity.What you get to do every day:Design and develop features for the AlertMedia Mass Comms productLearn the AlertMedia platform and tools, and its uses for our customersWork with Python, Elixir, JavaScript, Next.js, React and other web technologiesUse AI-enabled tools such as Claude, Cursor, and other emerging platforms to support development, problem-solving, documentation, and productivityWork in an Agile based environment using tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and SlackContribute to the technology lead that AlertMedia has over other solutions through innovative development and by helping contribute new ideas related to leveraging technology in our product lineUse strong verbal and written communication skills in collaboration with other engineering and product teamsContribute to AlertMedia's culture, values and vision for the futureWhat you bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred6-8 years of experience building scalable web applications, Elixir/Python/Django/JavaScript tech stack preferredExperience with Linux-based containers using tools like Docker or KubernetesExperience with Amazon Web Services (or other cloud services) is requiredPostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies experience requiredYou have an established practice of writing unit and integration testsActive user of AI tools and modern developer platforms to enhance engineering quality,
