Lead projects for the Application & Project Engineering team, delivering wing-to-wing customer solutions for Equipment projects from competitive proposal through executionProvide technical guidance to manufacturing, sourcing, project management, and external customersExecute OTR project engineering with a integral team to develop technical solutions and deliver Customizations (CGERs)Create and review Bills of Material from product Features and Options (VCC)Develop customer drawing packages incorporating requested customizationsReview build books and build plans, and prepare ECO markups to update BOMs for manufacturingPrepare and process supplier technical specifications and approve supplier drawing releases for compliance with project CTQsProvide product clarification and answer customer questions; resolve site issues with installation and commissioning teamsPrepare customer meeting presentations and participate in kick-off meetings and project execution discussionsLead design Toll Gate reviews with Chief Engineers on project NPI designsReview design and risk mitigation needs and communicate modifications to manufacturing and sourcing teamsPresent technical design reviews to managers and technical leaders; identify IP and Position Paper ideas and record IDLsExecute T&RS; compliance items and ensure package compliance with local codes and regulationsIdentify and execute project savings and available-parts utilization opportunitiesCreate new parts with the Part COE team as needed to complete project BOMsExecute CGER technical activities, including drawing redlines to standards, parts creation, and specificationsAttend project meetings and provide technical support for Engineering Release, HOM, CKOM, PSE Handover,

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related technical fieldMinimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience related to bills of materials, manufacturing, drawing creation, drawing change management, mechanical engineering, and product designMinimum of four (4) years of Gas Turbine related work experience with strong understanding of gas turbines-based packages including auxiliary systems and balance of plant equipmentMinimum of four (4) years of focused customer service and fulfillment experienceProven expertise in Gas Turbine & Power augmentation, Gas Turbine Installation and Foundations, Fuel systems design, Hydraulic systems design, Lube oil systems, and TR&S; compliance, codes & standardsMinimum of eight (8) years of exposure to power generation equipment manufacturing or packagingPractical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and problem-solving techniquesStrong knowledge of Aeroderivate gas turbine and package with demonstrated technical capabilityCore Competencies
