8 years of experience in network operations, infrastructure operations, network engineering support, IT service operations, or equivalent enterprise technology roles. 3 years of people leadership, team lead, shift lead, operations manager, or equivalent supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered. Strong understanding of enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, cloud connectivity, internet services, monitoring, and network security fundamentals. Demonstrated experience managing incident, request, change, and problem management processes in an enterprise IT environment. Strong working knowledge of Service Now or similar ITSM platforms, including operational reporting, ticket hygiene, assignment groups, SLAs/OLAs, knowledge, CMDB, and change/problem records. Experience coordinating major incidents, executive or leadership updates, post-incident reviews, corrective actions, and recurring issue remediation. Experience managing operational workstreams within infrastructure projects, including task tracking, dependency management, risk/issue escalation, and project status reporting. Experience with network monitoring, observability, AIOps, event correlation, dashboards, alert tuning, and operational analytics preferred. Experience with automation or scripting concepts preferred,



such as Python, Power Shell, Ansible, APIs, workflow automation, or infrastructure-as-code concepts. ITIL Foundation, CCNA, CCNP, Aruba, Fortinet, SD-WAN, cloud networking, project management, agile, or automation-related certifications preferred. Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop technical team members across different experience levels and locations. Strong operational judgment with the ability to prioritize competing incidents, requests, projects, escalations, and business needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues, operational status, risks, and business impact clearly to leadership. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams, security teams, vendors, field teams, regional IT, and business partners. Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics, trends, dashboards, and ticket analysis to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Ability to build structure, standardize processes, improve documentation, and create operating rhythms for a newly insourced integral operations team. Calm and organized under pressure, with the ability to lead teams through high-priority incidents and ambiguous situations.
