DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in property accounting.
The idóneo candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and timely reporting.
This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of property accounting, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closePrepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPRecord and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and prepaymentsMaintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation schedulesPrepare variance analyses for assigned properties in collaboration with property management teamsEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and lease agreementsPartner with property management teams to provide financial insights and resolve accounting-related issuesAssist with external audits and tax filings by providing schedules and support documentationUtilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reportingExperience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting softwareRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting.Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in property accountingStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAPAdvanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables,
