About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials and products.

This role leads warehouse personnel, maintains safety and quality standards, and works closely with the Logistics Department to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimize product flow, and support on-time customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate warehouse team members.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Coordinate closely with the Logistics Department to align shipping schedules, transportation requirements, and inventory availability.




- Communicate operational priorities, shipment status, and potential delays to logistics and other stakeholders.
- Enforce safety procedures, warehouse policies, and operational standards.
- Monitor warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and operational challenges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Forklift certification.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.

Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting of materials.

May require versátil hours, weekends, and overtime based on business needs.
