Role Description
The Pasante will support the legal team with day-to-day tasks, including conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, and assisting in the preparation of reports, memoranda, and basic contracts. This part-time, on-site role in Mexico City, Mexico involves organizing case files, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining accurate records of ongoing matters. The Pasante will collaborate with attorneys to gather information, help prepare materials for meetings or transactions, and ensure that documentation complies with relevant regulations.



The role also includes administrative support related to the legal practice and proactive communication with team members to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Law degree program, with solid foundational knowledge of Mexican law.
Strong legal research and analysis skills, including the ability to interpret legislation, regulations, and case law.
Proficient legal writing and document drafting skills in Spanish; working proficiency in English is highly valued.
Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing legal documents and maintaining case files.
Effective organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a professional environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with attorneys and support staff in a team setting.
High level of ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional integrity in handling sensitive information.
Interest in corporate, business, and international law, with motivation to learn about Mexican and global legal markets.
