Perform full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
Analyze financial transactions and identify discrepancies or unusual variances.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting activities.
Support internal and external audits.
Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
Complete assigned deliverables accurately and within established deadlines.
Proactively elevate risks, blockers, or missing information.
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting.
Professional License (Cédula Profesional).
7-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong full-cycle accounting experience.
Hands-on experience with month-end close.
Experience preparing and reviewing accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience working with operations teams at the property level.
Eligible to work in Mexico.
Preferred:
Experience working in a small public accounting firm.
Preferred: Experience in audit, tax, or accounting services environments.
Preferred: Experience supporting multi-entity accounting operations.
Preferred: Experience with Yardi.
