NPI Leader

Profile:

- +5 year´s experience in the manufacturing environment as a NPI lead or NPI manager ,
- Experience on sheet metal process preferred.
- +5 year´s experience leading major transitions of projects and NPI programs.
- Bachelor Industrial / Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Excellent budget administration.
- Strong experience in project management (Develop , transicion , transferring into mass production environment)
- Strong experience in product qualification , certification.
- Design software knowledge (Solidworks, proe, etc) desiderable

Responsibilities:

- Main technical point of contact with customers.
- Lead project strategy, implementation, and risk prevention efforts
- Lead project meeting status with team members (internally / externally).
- Tracks and provides project status (internally / externally).
- Creates project timelines, keeps them updated and ensures all people involved in the project
- Comply with the deadlines and key dates, within scope and budget.
- Supports the production team coordinating with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Manage resources and develop action plans for project members




- Lead technical activities during project definition and production initiation

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP. PFMEA, and production processes.
- Knowledge of Gauges / poka yokes , fixtures and production processes.
- Knowledge of Office tools (Excel , Powerpoint,etc)
- Experience working in a integral environment with diverse and remote teams using Project Management tools
