Lead Controller – Financial Reporting, Close & Audit

Are you a seasoned accounting leader with deep expertise in financial reporting, close processes, and audit management within publicly traded companies? At Relay Human Cloud , we're looking for an exceptional Lead Controller to play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting.

This is a high-impact leadership position working closely with the Chief Financial Officer , leading the financial close process, consolidated reporting, audit coordination, and continuous improvement of accounting controls and processes.

What You'll Do

Financial Close & Consolidation
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities and business units. - Review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations. - Ensure balance sheet accounts are accurate, fully supported, and audit-ready. - Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, unusual balances, and reporting issues.



- Maintain a disciplined and efficient close process, including close documentation and audit-ready workpapers.

Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including: - Balance Sheet - Income Statement - Cash Flow Statement - Develop monthly management reporting packages and variance analyses. - Monitor financial trends, margin fluctuations, and reporting inconsistencies. - Support quarterly and annual SEC reporting, including disclosures and XBRL tie-outs.

Technical Accounting
- Research and analyze complex U.S. GAAP matters. - Prepare technical accounting memorandums and supporting analyses. - Assist with revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, acquisitions, impairments, contingencies, and other complex transactions. - Support implementation of new accounting standards and policy updates.

Audit & Compliance
- Serve as the primary coordinator for annual audits and
