partnerships associate
remote (mexico, argentina, or canada)
full-time | eastern time (et) core hours | long-term contract
about the role
our client is a fast-growing general community for e-commerce entrepreneurs, connecting hundreds of active sellers and brands with partners, tools, and resources that help them scale. They're looking for a partnerships associate to own the full partner lifecycle — from identifying and closing new partners to keeping every relationship running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a hybrid sales + operations role: you'll bring partners in, and you'll make sure they stay in.
key responsibilities
- proactively identify, pitch, and close new partners (brands, saas tools, service providers, experts) across affiliates, event sponsorships, and community offerings
- own partner outreach from first contact to signed agreement, writing tailored pitches and following up consistently
- support and lead sales conversations around sponsorships, affiliate programs, and event partnership packages
- manage the full contract lifecycle via sign now — sending, following up, filing, and auditing agreements
- execute complete partner onboarding: collecting assets, aligning on deliverables, updating the database, setting up offers
- manage affiliate partnerships end to end — tracking links, commission structures, promotions, and performance reporting
- track and execute all partner deliverables across events and campaigns, coordinating with internal teams
- maintain the partner database and app-facing partner page, ensuring accuracy and current information at all times
- send the weekly partners newsletter every tuesday without exception
- produce ai-powered community insight summaries synthesizing partner-related discussions across community channels
- represent the company in person at us-based events a minimum of three times per year
requirements
- must be able to travel to the us at least 3 times per year without visa or documentation issues (travel costs covered by the company)
- 3+ years of experience in partnerships, sales, business development, affiliate marketing, or a coordination-heavy operations role, managing multiple concurrent workstreams and partner relationships independently — mid to senior level
- demonstrated ability to own both sides of a relationship: outreach/sales and organized follow-through/execution
- experience with crm and project management tools (airtable, clickup, hubspot, salesforce, sign now, or similar)
- strong written communication skills in english
- comfortable using ai tools (claude, chatgpt, or equivalent) to draft communications and synthesize content
- nice to have: experience in e-commerce, amazon seller, saas, or dtc ecosystems
- nice to have: background in affiliate marketing (tracking links, commission setup, performance reporting)
- nice to have: experience building or improving sops and operational workflows
ideal candidate
this role is for someone who's equally comfortable sending a cold outreach email and cleaning up a database — someone who takes pride in an ecosystem where nothing slips. They don't need daily task lists to function; they know what needs attention and execute without being prompted. They're strong on both the sales side and the operational side — not just one or the other — and they treat database accuracy as core to the job, not overhead.
