Network Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Network Automation Engineers to automate and manage network operating system upgrades, vulnerability remediation, compliance, testing, and network lifecycle activities. The idóneo candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD, and Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Automate network OS upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Develop network automation scripts and workflows using Python and Ansible.
- Automate vulnerability remediation and network compliance activities.
- Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Develop automated testing and validation processes for network changes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network automation.
- Use Git for source control, versioning, and collaborative development.
- Work with Cisco routers, switches, and network platforms.
- Perform pre- and post-upgrade validation and health checks.




- Troubleshoot network automation and deployment issues.
- Create reusable automation modules, playbooks, and scripts.
- Maintain documentation for automation processes and network changes.
- Collaborate with network, security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in network engineering / network automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong experience with Ansible for network automation.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience automating network OS upgrades and patching.
- Knowledge of network vulnerability remediation and compliance.
- Experience with automated testing and network validation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
