Key focus areas are the generation, evaluation and implementation of cost reduction ideas impacting the total product cost on electromechanical products through design, process and resourcing changes.
Highly visible role through interaction on all levels and with all functions.What can you look forward as a VAVE Engineer:Generate cost savings ideas (e.G: design changes, process changes, supplier resourcing, ...) by leading various internal and external activities (e.G supplier/in-house workshops, benchmarking activities, etc...)Drive with the cross-functional team the evaluation of cost reduction ideas in terms of technical feasibility, financial benefit, quality impact,



risks and customer acceptanceCollect inputs from various stakeholders, prepare business case and presentations to support business decisions and obtain Management approvalsTrack detailed status, monitor development & implementation progress for multiple VAVE projects, propose mitigation plans in case of deviations/roadblocks; escalat as requiredGenerate reports at various Management levelYour profile as a VAVE Engineer:Min 3 years of experience in the Automotive industry, preferably in VAVETechnical background, Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and ManagementExperience in cost reduction projectsTechnical and financial competencies including manufacturing processes, product design, product cost analysis and business case.Strong moderation and communication skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders (Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Portfolio, suppliers,...)Integral thinking, results oriented, advanced organizational and analytical skillsAbility and willingness to work under pressureFluent in English (in spoken and written) for working in an international environment.Experience with suppliers and/or customers is appreciatedProject Management skills are appreciatedStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Driving license, ability and willingness to travel (5%)What We Offer:Benefits above the lawMajor Medical Expenses InsuranceGlobal growth opportunitiesCompetitive Wages#J-*****-Ljbffr
