Job Summary

The Database Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, availability, and performance of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 platform running on Oracle Database 19c, supporting business continuity through the comprehensive administration of applications, databases, middleware, and the associated technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities Hands-on Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Applications 12.2 and Oracle database 19c. Support Oracle EBS on 19c database with multitenant architecture. Manage RHEL OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System) virtualized environment. Support EBS environment cloning. Implement and administrate TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.2 certificates for Oracle EBS for end-to-end encryption for all backend (behind the load balancer) services in an Oracle EBS deployment. Work on Web Logic/Fusion Middleware administration. Administrate ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) and Oracle ECC (Enterprise Command Centre). Handle Oracle Apex (Application Express), Bash scripting and automation. Manage EBS full stack security patching. Configure, administrate and register OAM (Oracle Access Manager) and OID (Oracle Internet Directory) for single EBS sign-on. Design HA (highly available) architectures and DR (disaster recovery) plans. Manage Data Guard setup and administration. Handle Rubrik backup and configuration.



Manage Oracle Database performance with tuning Full knowledge of Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster) technology with ability to administer and support. Handle Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager). Mentor others to enhance their technical competence and its application to achieve more effective technical solutions. Coach others in promoting, defining, analyzing, and providing superior technical solutions to business problems. Provides effective solutions to moderate technical challenges through strong technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues. Education Requirements This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Advanced English-speaking level is required. Must have skills Systems Software Infrastructure Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build fundamental architecture of operating systems, database management systems, communications protocols, compilers and other development tools. and registering OAM (Oracle Access Manager) and OID (Oracle Internet Directory) Implementing and administering TLS 1.2 certificates for Oracle EBS Web Logic / Fusion Middleware administration Administering ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) and Oracle ECC (Enterprise Command Center) Knowledge of creating and managing cloud computing systems consisting of hardware, virtualization, storage, and networking components Technical Excellence Oracle EBS Application support Oracle 19c or 26ai administration EBS technology stack management Web Logic / Fusion Middleware administration ORDS and ECC administration Cloud infrastructure technologies TLS implementation and security hardening EBS patching and maintenance activities Hardware Infrastructure RHEL virtualized environment Cloud computing infrastructure (hardware, virtualization, storage, networking) Enterprise platform integration activities supporting Oracle EBS environments Technical Troubleshooting Oracle EBS production support EBS cloning troubleshooting ADOP patching support and issue resolution Security patch deployment and remediation OAM/OID authentication troubleshooting TLS certificate troubleshooting Web Logic/Fusion Middleware troubleshooting ORDS/ECC operational support Additional Information The location for this position is Monterrey, MX. Work schedule is Monday to Friday (7am-4pm). This position may require up to 10% travel- domestic and international. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
