Business Systems Analyst - Supply Chain Operations
This role is within Chamberlain Group's IT Enterprise Applications group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support applications that enable Supply Chain Operations business processes, focused on SAP ECC (MM/PP/QM/WM), SAP MII, and related applications, and (ii) Understand business processes and document business requirements. Requires Minimum 3 years’ experience in Information Technology, preferably applications development or configuration, Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with SAP ECC (MM/PP/QM/WM) including hands-on configuration, Minimum 3 years working with business processes related to Supply Chain Operations such as MRP, Raw Material Procurement, Manufacturing Scheduling, Manufacturing Execution, Kanban, JIT, Quality Inspection, and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support applications that enable Supply Chain Operations business processes, focused on SAP ECC (MM/PP/QM/WM), SAP MII, and related applications
Understand business processes and document business requirements
Define and design proposed solutions that meet requirements and follow best practices
Collaborate with application developers to create functional specifications for custom development
Create test cases for business processes and system functions; execute tests; analyze and resolve defects
Collaborate with business stakeholders to create documentation and training materials; support training delivery
Support production systems; proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requests; participate in production support processes including identification of issue severity, root cause, and path to resolution
Identify opportunities to leverage applications to improve business processes,
and support business re-engineering efforts

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Information Technology, preferably applications development or configuration
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with SAP ECC (MM/PP/QM/WM) including hands-on configuration
Minimum 3 years working with business processes related to Supply Chain Operations such as MRP, Raw Material Procurement, Manufacturing Scheduling, Manufacturing Execution, Kanban, JIT, Quality Inspection
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong skills in systems analysis, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.
Working knowledge of software development lifecycles and how to take a solution from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment including release and change management.
Solid business requirements analysis skills and ability to identify alternative for solutions to business problems.
Solid data analysis skills and ability to translate business reporting needs into specific requirements and report designs.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders; collaborate effectively.
Ability to estimate work efforts consistently and accurately; manages own time to meet estimates and project deadlines
Communicates clearly in both written and verbal communications; able to explain technical solutions to a business person.
Other:
Able to travel occasionally domestically
