LOGISTICS OPERATOR

We are currently looking for Logistics Operator that will be Responsible for managing domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. trade and customs regulations, and maintaining smooth logistics and supply chain operations between the U.S. and integral partners.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage international logistics operations and end-to-end shipment coordination.
• Coordinate with trucking companies, freight forwarders, ocean carriers, customs brokers, and other logistics providers.
• Manage ocean freight bookings and coordinate with shipping lines regarding equipment availability, booking confirmations, schedules, cutoffs, documentation, and operational requirements.
• Negotiate freight rates,
transportation costs, and accessorial charges while maintaining the required service level.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely pickup, loading, departure, and delivery.
• Coordinate container availability, empty releases, transportation, terminal requirements, and shipment milestones.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations and shipping documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping, logistics, and tracking records.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Accounting, Warehouse, and other internal teams as required.
• Identify and resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, equipment issues, and other logistics-related matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, increase operational efficiency, and reduce transportation costs.
Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, freight coordination, freight forwarding, or international shipping.
• Proven experience managing international ocean shipments and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, trucking companies, customs brokers, and other logistics providers.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and transportation modes.
• Familiarity with U.S. import/export processes, customs requirements, and trade compliance.
• Experience with logistics platforms, ERP systems, and shipment tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
