Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Recruiter
to join our Talent Acquisition team in
Mexico City
. In this role, you will lead the full recruitment lifecycle for specialized technical profiles, with a primary focus on
Automotive Software, Embedded Systems, Electrical/Electronic (E/E) Architecture, and Control Systems
. You will act as a trusted advisor to global and local hiring managers, scaling our software engineering capabilities across Tier-1 suppliers and OEM client projects.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-complexity engineering profiles, including Embedded C/C++ Developers, AUTOSAR Engineers, ADAS/AV Systems Engineers, Software Validation/HIL Test Engineers, and Functional Safety (ISO *****) Specialists.
Proactive Sourcing & Mapping:
Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized platforms (GitHub, StackOverflow), and local engineering networks to headhunt niche automotive software talent across Mexico and LATAM.
Stakeholder Management:
Partner directly with Technical Directors, Project Managers, and Engineering Leads to define profile requirements, establish talent strategies, and calibrate selection criteria.
Candidate Assessment:
Conduct thorough competency-based behavioral and technical screening interviews (in both English and Spanish) to assess both soft skills and domain expertise.
Offer Management & Closing:
Formulate, negotiate, and present competitive compensation proposals to candidates, navigating market rates for specialized software profiles in Mexico.
Market Intelligence:
Serve as an internal consultant on labor market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive dynamics within the automotive software and nearshoring ecosystem in Mexico.

Key Competencies & QualificationsTechnical & Domain Expertise
Automotive Software Ecosystem Knowledge:
Deep understanding of tech stacks, tools, and acronyms specific to automotive development (e.g., Embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR, CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols, MATLAB/Simulink, ISO *****, ASPICE, HIL/SIL testing, QNX, Embedded Linux).
Engineering Talent Sourcing:
Demonstrated track record of identifying and recruiting passive engineering candidates in highly competitive markets.
Consultative Recruiting:
Capability to translate complex engineering client requirements into targeted talent pipelines.
Professional Requirements
Experience:
5+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with
at least 3 years explicitly focused on Automotive Software, Electronics, or Complex IT/Embedded Engineering
.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
Language Proficiency:
Bilingual (Native or Fluent Spanish / C1-C2 English)
. Exceptional written and verbal communication in English is essential, as you will interact daily with international stakeholders and conduct interviews in English.
System Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with modern ATS platforms (e.g., Cegid HR, Greenhouse, Workday), LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM tools.
