The Technical Cybersecurity Lead (OT) leads cybersecurity governance and risk reduction initiatives across manufacturing plants, industrial networks, and operational technology environments. The role is responsible for defining security standards, driving remediation efforts, and strengthening the security posture of production-critical systems while supporting business continuity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity assessments across manufacturing plants, industrial networks, OT assets, and production environments.
- Define and enforce OT cybersecurity standards, requirements, and best practices.
- Identify, prioritize, and drive remediation of cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical leadership for IT/OT segmentation, secure remote access, monitoring, backup, recovery, and resilience initiatives..
- Review and approve cybersecurity requirements for new equipment, plant expansions, technology upgrades, and digital transformation projects..
- Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and IT service providers.
- Oversee OT security monitoring, incident response readiness, and recovery planning.
- Establish cybersecurity requirements for AI-enabled solutions used within manufacturing and operational environments.
- Ensure cybersecurity improvements are implemented without impacting safety, product quality, equipment reliability, or production continuity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or industrial cybersecurity environments.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), or critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of industrial networking, IT/OT security, vulnerability management, incident response, monitoring, and recovery practices.
- Ability to assess risk, drive remediation initiatives, and influence stakeholders across technical and operational teams.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- SAP knowledge.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GICSP, GIAC, or Security+.
