Job Description:

Resumen

Is responsible for supporting purchasing activities to ensure the timely availability of materials, components, and services required for manufacturing operations. This position works closely with suppliers and internal departments to maintain material availability, competitive costs, quality standards, and delivery performance.
Responsabilidades

Mains Responsibilities:

- Create, update, and follow up on purchase orders.
- Support the purchasing of raw materials, components, supplies, and services.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery dates, and pending shipments.
- Monitor open and past-due purchase orders.
- Support material shortage resolution and communicate potential supply risks.
- Review MRP requirements and support purchasing actions according to production needs.
- Maintain accurate purchasing information in the ERP/MRP system.
- Request quotations from suppliers and support price comparisons.
- Assist Buyers and Senior Buyers with supplier negotiations and sourcing activities.
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.
- Support the resolution of invoice, quantity, pricing,



and receiving discrepancies.
- Maintain purchasing documentation and supplier records.
- Support supplier performance monitoring, including quality and on-time delivery.
- Participate in cost-reduction and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and internal procedures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Materials, Supply Chain, or a related area.
- Internship or previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- English proficiency for communication with suppliers is preferred.
