principal sre engineer / architect
we're looking for a principal sre engineer / architect to drive operational excellence and lead devops transformation for a growing platform. This is a fully remote role (mexico) focused on ensuring production readiness, automation, and high-impact incident resolution.
key responsibilities:
- design and implement ci/cd pipelines and self-healing systems that reduce manual intervention.
- lead incident response and root cause analysis (rca) in critical production environments.
- optimize performance and scalability of distributed systems, including capacity planning and load balancing.
- implement and maintain observability using tools such as splunk, dynatrace, and appdynamics.
- manage certificates (venafi, ecms, openssl, cipher suites) and networking concepts (tcp/ip, f5, proxies,
ftp/sftp).
- ensure compliance with itsm frameworks and regulatory standards.
requirements:
- proven experience in devops automation, troubleshooting, and incident management.
- solid knowledge of observability tools (splunk, dynatrace, appdynamics, or similar).
- experience with certificate management and networking concepts.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- advanced english proficiency to work with international teams.
- availability to work fully remote from mexico.
