/n/n## The team you will be a part of/n/nThe Product Design team designs, validates and brings new products to market.; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; and evaluates the design/u0027s overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety.
Collaborates with internal partners to optimize designs for manufacturability.
Uses CAD/CAE systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings./n/n## This role in summary/n/nAs an Analyst in Studio Engineering you will work with a senior member of the Studio Engineering team to partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Brand Studio Design staff across all product categories./n/n /nWe will look to you to partner in the development of great-looking, innovative products that are feasible from an engineering and manufacturing standpoint.
The role demands consistency across product /ncategories and an ability to work with others to develop engineering solutions that support operational excellence across all products and that our customers will ultimately prize./n/n /nWe expect you to be aware of technological advancements in materials and processes and have the ability to propose and champion innovative solutions and ideas.
You will also keep a clear focus on Craftsmanship in all product feasibility discussions and decisions./n/n## Your responsibilities will include/n/n/u25cf Create Creo Aesthetic models and master assemblies (with embedded /u2018Class A/u2019 surfaces) that capture the design intent for handoff to engineering departments.
/n/u25cf Influence and assist in resolving structural, mechanical, and/or electrical configurations.
/n/u25cf Influence and assist in affecting a convergence on final design approaches.
/n/u25cf Integrate design intent, engineering specifications, and marketing requests into product designs.
/n/u25cf Influence and assist in resolving manufacturability, cost, and aesthetic issues.
/n/u25cf Influence and assist in providing expertise for engineering feasibility, together with the industrial design team, and technology team.
/n/u25cf Participate in product/process critiques, with regard to engineering feasibility.
/n/u25cf Influence and assist in the studio engineering activity for the designated project.
/n/u25cf Support and assist the Industrial Designers with the development of products.
/n/u25cf Influence and assist in the construction of major design layouts, including packaging and human factor information /n/u25cf Grow and maintain effective partnerships between design and internal process partners.
/n/u25cf Assist with tracking all issues on projects through the design process.
/n/u25cf Assist in the gathering and distribution of technical data, guidelines and Standards.
/n/u25cf Support the build of models and show properties with technical expertise.

/n/u25cf Engineering support for improvement recommendations regarding Craftsmanship./n/n## Minimum requirements/n/n/u25cf Bachelor/u2019s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of engineering experience or an Engineering Design Certificate and 3+ years of engineering experience/n/n/u25cf Experience with 3D modeling utilizing Creo, Catia, Solidworks, etc.
/n /n/u25cf Experience in steel fabrication (folded, stamped, machined and cast steel parts) and plastic production processes (injection, co-injection, two-shot injection molding, in-mold laminates, blow molding and vacuum forming, plastic vibration welding).
/n /n/u25cf The ability to communicate fluently in English/n/n## Preferred skills and experiences/n/n/u25cf 2+ year/u2019s in product design activities working with industrial designers, engineers, vendors in new product development.
/n /n/u25cf Experience working with industrial designers, engineers, and vendors in new product development./n/n /n/u25cf Ability to participate and influence product/process critiques within Studio teams./n/n /n/u25cf Ability to create multiple technically feasible solutions in upholding aesthetic product direction.
