We are looking for a Logistics Customs Specialist to join our Logistics team.
We’re looking for an early-career professional who already has hands-on knowledge of customs operations, spare parts logistics, and import/export procedures, ideally within the automotive industry.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage and follow up on customs operations for complete vehicles, spare parts, and automotive components.
- Coordinate import/export and customs clearance processes.
- Work with customs brokers, transportation providers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and update HS Code / tariff classification databases.
- Follow logistics procedures from arrival and customs clearance through transportation to the warehouse.
- Support the creation and improvement of customs and logistics procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Ensure documentation, customs requirements, and operational timelines are properly followed.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in customs, logistics, imports/exports, or related operations.
- Solid understanding of Mexican customs procedures and documentation.
- Experience handling spare parts or automotive components is highly preferred.
- Automotive industry experience is a strong advantage.
- Intermediate English.
- Strong follow-up, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
