CDN & Edge Security Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience. ~5+ years of experience
supporting enterprise CDN, networking, or application security environments. ~ Strong hands-on experience with Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, or similar CDN technologies. ~ TCP/IP Networking ~ Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 7 Security Concepts ~ Web Application Firewalls (WAF) ~ Content Delivery Networks (CDN) ~ Edge Security Services ~ Proven experience troubleshooting complex performance, routing, availability, and security-related incidents. ~ Experience designing and supporting WAF policies, bot protection controls, and DDoS mitigation architectures.
~ Experience working with cloud platforms such as
AWS, Azure, or GCP
. ~ Ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, and application teams.
Familiarity with
Zero Trust
and Edge Security architectures. Python PowerShell Bash Terraform Knowledge of API Security controls and modern web application architectures. Experience supporting large enterprise or general e-commerce environments. Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging platforms. Experience conducting security assessments and threat analysis.
