Job Title: Mobile Android Developer

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote

Location: Nearshore Mexico

Duration: 6+Months

Role Overview:

The candidate will develop and maintain features for the Client's Android app. They will use modern Android development technologies such as Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Hilt, MVVM, Coroutines/Flow, and Room.

The developer will work on a large-scale, modular Android application and will be responsible for writing production-quality code and automated tests.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain features for a large-scale Android eCommerce application.
- Write clean, production-ready Kotlin code.
- Build Android UI using Jetpack Compose.
- Follow MVVM architecture and modern Android development practices.
- Work with Hilt for dependency injection.
- Use Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming and data handling.
- Work with Room for local database/storage.
- Use Retrofit for API/network communication.




- Write and maintain unit and UI tests.
- Work with JUnit and MockK for testing.
- Work within a multi-module Gradle architecture.
- Use Git for source control.
- Collaborate with other developers and contribute to production applications.
