Role Description The Cloud Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Mexico City, Mexico, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the Cloud Specialist will design, configure, and maintain virtualized infrastructure and cloud environments to support “as-a-service” solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing integrations between systems, managing deployments, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting issues across infrastructure and applications.

Specialist will collaborate with software development and DevOps teams to automate workflows, improve scalability, and ensure secure, reliable operations. This role also involves documenting configurations, following best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of cloud services.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of infrastructure and cloud computing concepts, including virtualized environments and cloud service models.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues across networks, systems, and cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related tooling.
- Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Cloud professional Certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
