Position Overview We are seeking an Engineering Operations Data Analyst to support Vehicle System Synthesis and engineering leadership. In this role, you will analyze technical data, perform competitive benchmarking, and streamline information flow across multidisciplinary automotive development programs. You will serve as the single source of truth for key operational metrics, validation activities, and competitive intelligence turning complex technical data into concise visual reports and executive summaries that drive fast, data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Competitive Benchmarking &
- Analysis: Conduct technical assessments, competitive vehicle comparisons, and industry trend analysis to guide vehicle synthesis strategies.
- Leadership Support &
- Reporting: Build and deliver executive-level dashboards, presentation decks, and technical summaries for program leadership to accelerate decision-making.
- Operations &
- Validation Tracking: Maintain and analyze key operational data, including annual trip/validation plans, benchmarking schedules, resource utilization, and vehicle development metrics.
- Cross-Functional Data Consolidation: Aggregate siloed data streams across engineering, testing, and validation organizations into a unified single source of truth.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Identify emerging risks, programmatic gaps, resource bottlenecks, and performance trends across active vehicle programs.

Key Competencies

- Data Visualization &
- Analytics: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data presentation tools to build interactive, real-time executive dashboards.
- Technical Communication:



Exceptional ability to synthesize complex, multi-layered engineering and testing data into clear, high-level summaries for executive stakeholders.
- Vehicle Development Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive engineering workflows, physical vehicle benchmarking, proving ground testing, or fleet validation activities.
- Cross-Functional Project Coordination: Strong organizational skills to manage urgent technical inquiries, align disparate team deliverables, and handle dynamic leadership priorities.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in data analytics, technical program management, operations support, or competitive benchmarking within an automotive, aerospace, or industrial engineering environment.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Excel (data modeling, macros), Power BI/Tableau, and PowerPoint.
