Your Role As a Data Engineer at PALO IT, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing data-driven solutions that support our clients in making informed, strategic decisions. You will leverage cutting-edge technologies to develop robust, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring seamless data access and processing. Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring efficient flow and transformation of data.

Develop API services using Python FastAPI to facilitate data access and integration with various applications. Manage and optimize databases using Firestore and Google Cloud SQL, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance.

Utilize Google Agent Development

Kit (ADK) to integrate AI functionalities into data processes and enhance automation. Use GitHub (PR-based workflows) and GitHub Projects for project management, version control, and collaborative development.



Monitor data integrity and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust solutions to enhance data workflows.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on building data pipelines. Proficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and data tools, including Firestore and Google Cloud SQL. Solid programming experience in Python, with demonstrated proficiency in FastAPI for building APIs.

Familiarity with the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Claude Code for enhancing data processes.

Experience collaborating in a Git-based environment, specifically with PR-based workflows on GitHub. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, agile environment.
