Location: Querétaro / CDMX
Objective:
Lead Solfium’s financial planning and analysis function, translating financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. The role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and corporate financial modeling, while supporting capital-raising and financing initiatives and coordinating due diligence processes with investors, lenders, and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and update the company’s five-year integrated financial model, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and its periodic updates.
- Prepare financial forecasts and analyze variances between vigente results, budgets, and projections.
- Consolidate and analyze the company’s financial results.
- Develop scenario analyses, sensitivity analyses, and financial evaluations of projects and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors, and investors.
- Lead financial analyses related to equity fundraising, debt financing, and other funding alternatives.
- Coordinate financial information requests during due diligence processes.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to operational and commercial teams, enabling data-driven decision-making through financial insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, liquidity, and cash flow generation.
- Incorporate artificial intelligence and data visualization tools to automate analyses and strengthen financial processes.
- Lead and develop the financial planning team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance preferred.
- More than four years of experience in FP&A;, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, or related areas.
- Previous experience in startups or the banking sector is required.
- Proven experience developing integrated corporate financial models.
- Experience participating in financing, capital-raising, or due diligence processes.
- Advanced English proficiency is required, including the ability to prepare and present financial information to investors and international stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills are required, particularly for financial modeling and analysis.
- Hands-on experience using Claude (AI) is required, particularly for financial analysis, automation, or process improvement.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is preferred.
