Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Desirable: Specialization in Occupational Health and Safety, Organizational Development, or Communication.
Experience
3 to 5 years in similar roles, preferably in companies with over 300 employees.
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or services sectors (depending on the company's industry).
Knowledge of Mexican labor regulations (Federal Labor Law - LFT, STPS Official Mexican Standards - NOMs). Technical Skills
Knowledge of organizational diagnostic methodologies (e.g., Denison model).
Proficiency in training platforms (e.g., Moodle, Cornerstone) and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts) and HR software proficiency (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR).
Soft Skills
Leadership to influence multidisciplinary teams.
Assertive communication (verbal and written).
Conflict resolution and negotiation.
Results-oriented with a human-centric approach.
Languages
Intermediate English (B2): Multinational company, frequent interaction with international colleagues
Key Responsibilities
- Occupational Health and Safety
Oversee workplace safety programs in compliance with NOM-035-STPS (psychosocial risk factors) and other applicable regulations (e.g., NOM-030, NOM-019).
Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with operational departments to implement accident prevention and first aid protocols.
Manage the health and safety committee and report incidents to the relevant authorities (IMSS, STPS).
Train employees on safety, ergonomics, and mental health topics.
- Organizational Development
Design and implement workplace climate strategies (surveys, focus groups, action plans).
Analyze turnover, absenteeism, and job satisfaction metrics to propose improvements.
Collaborate with leaders on change management (restructuring, mergers, adoption of new technologies).
Promote an organizational culture aligned with company values.
- Training and Talent Development
Identify training needs through assessments (e.g., skills gap analysis).
Design and execute training plans (in-person, e-learning, workshops) covering both technical and soft skills.
Manage the training budget and evaluate program ROI.
Coordinate mentoring, coaching, and succession planning programs for key roles.
- Internal Communication
Develop communication strategies to ensure effective information dissemination (newsletters, intranet, meetings).
Manage two-way communication channels (e.g., suggestion boxes, pulse surveys).
Organize internal events (e.g., recognition ceremonies, motivational talks, corporate celebrations).
Act as a liaison between management and employees to convey key messages and gather feedback.
- Legal and Administrative Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor obligations (contracts, severance settlements, social security/housing fund registrations).
Participate in drafting internal policies (code of ethics, internal work regulations).
Support certification processes (e.g., Great Place to Work, ISO 45001).
