Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ciudad Obregón, SON.

The Human Resources Information System

Specialist is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing HRIS platforms to support core HR activities, including employee data management, benefits administration, and reporting. Daily tasks include updating employee records, troubleshooting system issues, creating and refining workflows, and generating analytics and compliance reports for HR and leadership. The role collaborates closely with HR staff and other functional teams to streamline business processes, ensure data accuracy, and support new system features or integrations.

The specialist also participates in testing system changes, training users, documenting procedures,



and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and the employee experience.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret HR data, identify trends, and support data-informed decisions.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including configuration, maintenance, and user support.
- Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) practices and policies, including core HR functions and compliance considerations.
- Understanding of employee benefits processes, administration, and related data management.
- Ability to analyze and improve business processes, including documenting workflows and implementing process enhancements.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools; ability to create clear and accurate HR reports.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with HR teams, train users, and explain technical concepts in accessible language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in an on-site HR or HRIS support role is preferred; familiarity with local labor practices in SON is an asset.
