Job Responsibilities

Ensures the daily administrative and logistical tasks related to facilities management.

Responsible for general services, focusing primarily on the daily management of the services and resources necessary for the smooth operation of the organization

Responsible for overseeing policy contracts for HVAC services, fire protection systems, chiller service, compressors, overhead cranes, lifting equipment, and water treatment. Must ensure the quality of service from suppliers, analyze performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement. Their keen eye allows for continuous optimization of operational processes.

Responsible for best practices in plant cleaning, such as cleaning routines at heights on production lines and pest control.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings and all infrastructure, including restrooms, offices, production areas, logistics, exteriors, green areas, electrical substations, machine rooms, cisterns, and roads, including civil works and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.

Negotiates and oversees contracts with key suppliers, such as cleaning, security, and maintenance.

Responsible for the management and administration of preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures the operation of plant machinery and equipment, such as air compressors, chillers, air conditioning, pumps, cooling towers, fire suppression systems, mechanical piping, electrical substations and distribution panels, overhead cranes, lighting, lifting platforms, and fire alarm systems.

Ensures compliance with current standards and legislation. Stays constantly informed about regulations related to health, safety, the environment, and energy efficiency. The Facility Manager ensures that the facilities are compliant by conducting regular checks and establishing follow-up procedures. They may also participate in the development of internal policies to promote a culture of compliance and minimize legal risks.

Responsible for optimizing the energy performance of buildings. Implements strategies and action plans to reduce energy consumption, minimize associated costs, and improve the operational efficiency of the facilities. To achieve these objectives, the general services coordinator conducts energy audits and identifies sources of waste

Then, they propose corrective measures to sustainably optimize their facilities. They oversee equipment maintenance, ensure its proper functioning, and anticipate potential failures. Through precise monitoring of interventions, equipment usage, and space occupancy, they must be able to prevent service interruptions.
