Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall operation and management of the company's import and export customs clearance business in Mexico, docking and coordinating with Chinese headquarters teams, customs brokers and logistics transportation companies. Ensure the standardized, efficient and smooth progress of import and export business, timely handle and solve various abnormal problems in the customs declaration process, and optimize the local customs clearance and logistics operation system continuously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily import and export customs declaration, clearance, and inspection handling for raw materials, equipment and finished goods in Mexico.
- Prepare, check and submit full customs documents, including invoice, packing list, bill of lading, pedimento and certificates; ensure data accuracy of HS code, valuation and origin.
3.Long-term and stable docking with China headquarters procurement, logistics and production teams, synchronize the progress of Mexican import and export business, feedback local customs policy changes and business risks in a timely manner, reasonably arrange cargo shipment, customs clearance and delivery plans according to the production and material demand of the Chinese side, and realize efficient linkage of Sino-Mexican business.
- Manage daily IMMEX program compliance, bonded inventory records and customs supervision requirements.
- Follow up updates of Mexican customs policies, tariff rules and trade compliance requirements; prevent customs fines and audit risks.
- Coordinate with local customs brokers, customs authorities, logistics vendors and internal teams to solve clearance abnormalities and delivery delays.
- Responsible for customs cost statistics, regular compliance checks and process optimization.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of Mexico local customs working experience; familiar with IMMEX operation and local clearance procedures.
- Proficient in HS code classification, customs declaration, and Mexico trade compliance rules.
- Familiar with customs audit procedures and able to handle official inquiries independently.
- Good English and Spanish reading & communication skills (Spanish preferred).
- Manufacturing / electronics industry (PCBA/EMS) working experience is a plus.
