A Software Engineer at ARCOS is an integral part of our agile development team, contributing advanced software engineering expertise to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions. The adecuado candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of software architecture, prioritizes quality, and is committed to enhancing the security, scalability, and testability of our software products. The ARCOS engineering organization builds cloud-native solutions while also maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing legacy systems to improve performance, scalability, and resilience.

We design stateless, containerized, and dynamically scalable services, leveraging CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and explicit dependency management to ensure seamless deployments and a high-velocity development experience. We work to evolve legacy systems, refactoring monolithic architectures, improving efficiency, and integrating cloud-native principles where possible. Hands-on design and development of software that aligns with the needs of ARCOS's customers and strategic goals.

Utilize

GenAI coding assistants and Agentic development to efficiently deliver high-quality software. Follow best practices in software engineering, including clean code, design patterns, code reviews and unit testing. Tackle complex technical challenges and provide solutions that consider immediate and long-term implications.

Teamwork: Collaborate across teams to drive project success.

Execution & Delivery: Operate within an Agile Scrum framework, actively contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Take ownership of tasks and projects,



ensuring delivery on time and with exceptional quality.

Required Technical Skills: C# .NET (Framework 4.8 / Core 1.0 and above) ASP.NET SQL (relational) databases REST JavaScript/TypeScript HTML/CSS Angular or other JavaScript frameworks Unit testing practices (experience with frameworks like xUnit, Moq/NSubstitute) Design patterns Git or equivalent Desired Education, Skills &

Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 2–5 years of experience or equivalent proficiency in full-stack enterprise software development (UI, backend, API, database, mobile). Strong foundation in software engineering design principles and architectural patterns.

Experience leveraging GenAI coding tools and Agentic development.

Experience with Agile development methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices. Knowledgeable in secure software development techniques and secure testing methodologies.

Experience implementing architectures such as multi-tenant, cloud-based, high-volume, and high-availability systems.

Experience developing and delivering software across various Web and Mobile platforms.
