Research Operations

Coordinator (f/m/d) You'll be at the heart of making games great, using your technical expertise to plan, set up, troubleshoot, and run playtests with our in-house software. You'll also engage directly with clients to ensure their vision aligns with the testing process and to deliver impactful insights for their games.

Automated Playtest Monitoring & Support: Actively monitor the performance of automated playtests, troubleshoot issues independently with urgency and attention to detail to ensure on-time delivery of results. Oversee the end-to-end process of remote mobile playtesting for custom projects, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and delivery.

Responsibilities include project scoping, quoting, technical playtest setup and delivering insightful results to stakeholders. Serve as a primary point of contact for North American clients, offering timely and effective communication through email and Zoom. Coordinate playtests and troubleshoot issues with the greater Research Operations team while working asynchronously across time zones.

Use in-house and external software programs to facilitate playtesting and client communication, including Asana, Front, Slack, Heroku and our own Player Insights PlatformTM. Document and regularly update information for current projects as well as maintain our internal help center.



You have 3+ years of experience in the gaming industry, working closely with research or development.

Alternatively, you have experience in SaaS platforms or with agency work.

Strong English skills: You have (near) native spoken and written English skills and are comfortable conversing in English with colleagues and clients. You're resourceful, thrive in autonomy, and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You have strong organizational skills, with proven time management abilities and are excited to manage multiple projects and tasks with short deadlines.

You can quickly learn and apply complex software, including mastering our custom playtesting software and navigating a suite of tools. Familiarity with complex software or programming languages is idóneo (e.g.

Looker

Studio, Logic Pro X, Unity, Tableau, Ableton, Premiere Pro, SQL). Extensive knowledge of the gaming industry and/or the field of Games User Research. Extra beneficial is experience coordinating or moderating playtest studies (remote or in person).
