Job Title Cloud Engineer / SME ( VPC & GenAI Solutions)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep, specialized experience in the VPC/cloud environment. This is a 2-month consulting engagement to spearhead a Proof of Concept (POC) for an external vendor’s Generative AI solution.

The adecuado candidate will serve as the primary technical liaison representing our client, guiding a West Coast-based vendor through our client's enterprise systems, compliance guardrails, and cloud infrastructure to ensure a successful integration.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Representative Act as the core technical point of contact representing our client to the external vendor. Guide them on what is architecturally possible within our client’s enterprise standards.

VPC Environment Oversight Facilitate and oversee the onboarding and readiness of the VPC environment for the vendor's application. Note Actual deployment and configuration of the app will be handled by the vendor; this role ensures the underlying environment is properly set up and secure.





GenAI Integration Consulting Provide high-level guidance on GenAI components, including API key management, token usage, and LLM connectivity within the client ecosystem.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Infrastructure Expertise Proven, hands-on experience navigating and managing the unique cloud networking architecture and VPC standards defiend by our client.

GenAI Literacy A strong conceptual/high-level understanding of LLMs, API key configurations, token management, and secure endpoint integrations.

Vendor Management Strong communication skills to effectively translate complex internal enterprise policies to a vendor who lacks prior ecosystem knowledge.

Location/Time Zone Strict working hour overlap with US West Coast (PST) hours is required to facilitate smooth collaboration with the vendor and the internal team.
