Job Summary The Senior Logistics Analyst – LATAM supports the Logistics Projects & Excellence Coordinator in the execution of strategic logistics projects, performance analysis, cost control, compliance audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across the LATAM region. Based in Mexico City, the role operates with a strong analytical focus, translating data into actionable insights that drive logistics excellence for Vertiv’s operations in Latin America.

Responsibilities Logistics Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze logistics data across LATAM countries, generating KPI dashboards and performance reports for management visibility.
- Monitor key logistics metrics (on-time delivery, cost per unit, lead time, freight spend) and highlight trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, Excel, or similar) to support data-driven decision-making.
Strategic Logistics Project Support
- Support the execution of logistics projects (domestic and international) within the LATAM region, tracking milestones, actions, and deliverables.
- Conduct research, benchmarks, and analytical studies to support logistics model evolution and process redesign initiatives.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, presentations, and stakeholder reports.
Cost Control & Savings Identification
- Monitor freight, customs, and logistics cost control mechanisms, identifying saving opportunities and presenting recommendations to the Coordinator.
- Support carrier and 3PL performance analysis,
contributing to RFQ processes and contract performance reviews.
Compliance, Audit & Process Governance
- Execute analyses and prepare data packages for logistics compliance audits across LATAM markets.
- Support the implementation and standardization of logistics processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
- Follow up on audit findings and corrective action plans to ensure closure within timelines.
Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
- Collaborate with procurement, customs, operations, and finance teams to identify and implement end-to-end supply chain improvements.
- Interface with LATAM country teams to gather operational inputs, ensure data accuracy, and align on reporting standards.
- Support the Coordinator in preparing materials for regional leadership reviews and strategic planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles with a strong analytical component.
- Experience working with logistics KPIs, cost management, and operational performance tracking.
- Exposure to customs/import-export processes and international freight is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, data modeling).
- Power BI or equivalent BI tool proficiency.
- ERP systems knowledge (SAP preferred).
- Strong presentation and report-building capabilities
Certifications (Preferred / Differentiating)
- Graduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Trade
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
Languages
- Spanish: Advanced / Fluent (required)
- English: Advanced / Fluent (required)
- Portuguese: Intermediate or above (preferred)
Work Location: Mexico City, Mexico – On-site Travel Requirements: 10–15% – Regional travel within LATAM as needed
