Linux System Administrator PR

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience administering Linux server environments.
- Strong experience with:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- CentOS
- Ubuntu Linux
- Experience performing operating system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
- Knowledge of server monitoring and performance tuning.
- Experience in capacity planning and infrastructure maintenance.
- Understanding of system security, user administration, and access management.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, operating system, and application performance issues.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, NTP).
- Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Linux server environments to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
- Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade server hardware and operating systems.
- Monitor server performance, system health,



and resource utilization to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform system updates, patch management, and security remediation activities.
- Plan and manage server capacity to support business growth and operational requirements.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize service interruptions and unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, operating system, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Implement and enforce security standards, access controls, and system hardening practices.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with network, database, application, and security teams to ensure seamless infrastructure operations.
- Document configurations, procedures, and technical solutions.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution efforts.
