Project Manager – Controlling / Cost Planning – Mexico

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a short-term Cost Center Planning and financial process improvement initiative across three manufacturing plants in Mexico.

Responsibilities

- As a Project Manager on the business side coordinate the delivery of SAP Costing / Controlling resources across multiple plant locations.
- Manage project activities, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Work closely with plant controllers, finance leadership, IT, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate status meetings and ensure actions and issues are followed through to resolution.
- Support coordination of transaction analysis, cost allocation improvements, training, documentation, and hypercare activities.
- Help keep the project on track around month-end close and other key finance deadlines.

Requirements





- Strong project management experience within Finance / Controlling environments.
- Good understanding of SAP CO, Cost Center Accounting, product costing, and manufacturing finance processes.
- Experience working directly with finance and accounting teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Able to work independently and drive activities with minimal supervision.
- English required; Spanish strongly preferred.
- Mexico-based candidates preferred.
