PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- We are looking for a Key Account Executive to drive the growth of Brands in Mexico. This is a permanent position focused 100% on Sell-In strategy, ensuring optimal stock levels and brand presence across major department stores and specialty beauty stores.
- Reporting to the Sell-In Manager, you will join a high-performance commercial team. You will collaborate closely with Sell-Out, Sales Administration, Marketing, and CDT, acting as a strategic liaison between our Maison and our business partners' purchasing departments.
- Your goal is to execute the Sell-In commercial plan to achieve annual turnover targets. You will provide end-to-end management for assigned accounts from negotiating orders and new launches to monitoring inventory health ensuring the operational excellence and entrepreneurial spirit of LVMH.
Key Account Executive
RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Management & Negotiation
- Sales Plan Execution: Negotiate and secure purchase orders (POs) for launches, core products, and seasonal sets to achieve annual turnover targets.
- Launch Management: Present Brands novelties to department store buyers, ensuring initial stock placement.
- Quota Negotiation: Manage purchase budgets (S&S; - Stocks & Sales) with business partners, seeking to maximize implementation.
Operational Excellence & Inventory Analysis
- Inventory Monitoring: Analyze stock levels weekly to propose replenishment orders and prevent Out of Stocks (OOS).
- Portal & Catalog Administration: Maintain up-to-date product information, pricing, and listings in the vendor portals of each department store.
- Assortment Optimization:
Evaluate product turnover and manage returns or stock transfers to ensure a healthy and profitable product portfolio.
- Sales Forecast: Generate monthly and annual purchase forecasts based on account history and brand expansion plans.
Internal & External Coordination
- Business Reviews: Prepare and present commercial performance reports to buyers to strengthen the commercial relationship.
- Synchronization with Trade Mkt - Sell-Out: Work alongside the Sell-Out team to align stock intake with point-of-sale animations and promotional activities.
- PO Management with Sales Administration - CDT: Oversee the process from order placement to invoicing and delivery, resolving any administrative or logistical incidents to ensure stock arrives on agreed dates.
PROFILE
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related fields.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or commercial account management, preferably in the beauty and/or cosmetics industry. Previous experience negotiating with Department Store buyers (e.g., Liverpool, Palacio de Hierro, Sephora, etc.) is essential.
- Language skills: English B2-Advanced (ability to participate in international meetings and draft reports). Native or fluent Spanish.
- Computer skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis). Experience managing retail vendor portals.
- Other skills or know-how: Strong numerical analysis skills for inventory management and sales forecasting. Deep understanding of the commercial cycle of Department Stores in Mexico.
- Soft skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, highly organized, result-oriented, problem-solving agility.
